The various professional up-gradation programmes included under the PGD +ve Banner are:
• Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital and Healthcare Management (PGDHHM)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Medico Legal Systems (PGDMLS)
• Diploma in Fitness Training (DFT)
For the PGDMLS course, there is a module for each subject. It contains the chapters to study, as well as an assignment at the end of each textbook. Assignments at the end of each module should be completed and returned for evaluation. Candidates will get marks for each assignment in their evaluation forms. However, separate mark sheets will not be supplied to the candidates. Candidates who complete and pass all their assignments on time will be awarded one credit.
The distance education programme will also be available online at www.schcpune.org. On payment of the full fee and submission of the prescribed application form, candidates will receive a user id and password that they can use to access the modules. In case of PGDHHM & PGDMLS candidates must complete the course within two years of registration failing which they will have to re-register and pay fees if they wish to continue.
For PGDMLS course student evaluation is in the form of assignments. Correspondence training requires constant monitoring of knowledge, and the
SCHC examinations are specially designed for this purpose. Assignments at the end of each module should be completed and returned for evaluation.
For PGDHHM course Student evaluation is done entirely on basis of Logbook and dissertation.
All fees are payable in installments through Demand Drafts or Cash.
All candidates will be provided with the contact details of the faculty who have authored the different modules. They can be contacted for clarifications regarding the modules or assignments.
For the distance learners a contact programme and convocation ceremony will be held at the end of the first week of May. It is mandatory for all registered candidates to attend the programme.

Candidates should send the completed application form along with an attested copy of the degree/ provisional certificate. Hospital administrators should submit in addition a certificate of employment and proof of experience for five years or more signed by the head of the health care organization/s where they are/ were working
