Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar, Hon. Director, Symbiosis Centre of Health Care has played a pivotal role in setting up the Health Centre in the year 1997. A gynaecologist by profession Dr. Rajiv has also been at the forefront of developing ideas and pioneering new courses for the healthcare professionals. The novel Medical Insurance Scheme for the students of Symbiosis is his brainchild.

A Member of RCOG, UK, and a Gold medalist, Dr. Rajiv earned his MBBS degree and his Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from B.J Medical College, University of Pune.

Prior to setting up the SCHC, Dr. Rajiv was with the Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Oman for around 4 years. He has traveled extensively to the Middle East, South East and Europe. On board with various organizations and professional bodies Dr Rajiv has a flair for social activities.

Aged 54, Dr Rajiv is happily married to Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Joint Director Symbiosis.
