1. What is National Seminar (NS)?

Ans: National Seminar (NS) on Hospital & Healthcare Management, Medico Legal Systems and Clinical Research is the culmination of one year distance education program. It is a two days contact program at the end of academic year, preferably on 1st or 2nd week of May. Successful students are awarded diploma during the NS valedictory ceremony which would be held during the National Seminar.

The seminar will cover contemporary topics highlighting the challenges, elucidations and policies surfacing within the Healthcare industry. Stalwarts and experts will be gracing the occasion. Every year nearly 1200 delegates including Doctors, Nurses, Clinical Research Professionals, Lawyers, Government Officials and Students attend this event.

3. When is it conducted?

4. What is its frequency?

Ans: It is conducted once every year.

5. Is it mandatory to attend NS?

Ans: Yes, attendance at NS is one of the mandatory criterion to receive the certificate of postgraduate diploma programs offered by Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC).

8. What is the process to register for NS?

Ans: Registration form are mailed to all students & uploaded on website. Students are required to fill the form completely and mail/courier with requisite payment details within stipulated time.

9. Can I attend NS if my submissions are not complete?

Ans: Yes, you can attend NS even if your submission of assignments, projects, etc. are not complete.

10. What happens if I do not attend the NS?

Ans: As mentioned earlier, it is mandatory to attend NS as a fulfilment of criteria for award of diploma. If one is not able to attend NS, the student needs to take extension for a year by paying extension fees and attend the National Seminar next year.

11. How to seek an extension?

Ans: Extension can be availed by paying 15% of registration fees for the program along with the application. Extension is granted only for one year.

12. When to pay for the extension?

Ans: It is suggested to pay and apply for an extension after NS.
