Annual Blood Donation Drive, SCHC

When Feelings of the Heart come to the Surface…Reality Reveals!

International Student’s day, 31^st July, 2008, was marked in the history of Symbiosis as 961 students (National and International) donated blood at SCHC at all campuses of Symbiosis across Pune. It swept out all bars like caste, religion, race and borders of state.

Blood Banks associated were KEM Hospital Blood Bank, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Poona Serological Institute, Inlaks & Budhrani Hospital & Acharya Anand-Rishiji. The success of such an event in motivating and creating awareness among the community lies in the dedicated and committed effort of academicians, future Healthcare Managers as proven by the students and staff of MBA (Hospital & Health Care Management) programme of Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS). The awareness was successfully created by arranging poster exhibition, power point presentation and performing street plays on all symbiosis campuses across Pune.

The special importance is positive health health awareness.
