‘Healthy Pune’ campaign

SCHC proposes to establish a common forum with participation of esteemed schools to implement the “Healthy Pune Campaign”. This would focus various issues specific to students’ health through school based activities with special emphasis on health education. Under the Healthy Pune Campaign, SCHC implements school health education programme in various schools of Pune  with a view to inculcate health awareness amongst the school students. Following topics are included in health education lectures for the students of std VI to IX

1. Concept of Health & Disease.

2. Posture, Rest &Exercise.

3. First aid.

4. Adolescent Health.

5. Nutrition.

6. Body Systems.

7. Infectious Diseases.

8. Special Senses.

9. Dental Health.
