Message by Director, SCHC
Dear All members of Symbiosis Family,
For the SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, a possible
influenza pandemic provides many challenges. To prevail, we will
need planning, knowledge sharing, and the will to act.
Student Health Services are committed to protecting all faculty,
staff, and students in the event of an influenza pandemic and
will take all necessary actions to ensure their safety.
Therefore, this blog has been created to keep students, faculty,
and staff informed on matters that are related to influenza
(flu).
An informed student body and work force will, hopefully, cut
down on the severity and limit its impact, which will allow our
students to attend classes without interruption or limited
interruption.
This blog will also provide information which will be helpful
when you might be away from the campus entirely and before you
return to campus in the fall. It will be updated regularly as
information is released from various experts in the field of
infectious and contagious diseases, CDC, WHO, and others. We at
SCHC recommend that you monitor this site frequently.
If you present with symptoms like running nose, fever, and sore
throat immediately contact Medical Officer, SCHC. After
screening the Medical Officer, SCHC will take appropriate
actions.
For emergency you can contact:
Dr. Shripad Kulkarni,
Chief Medical Officer, SCHC at 9422356164
