The Symbiosis Ambulance has been functional for Symbiosis
staff & students at Lavale. Ambulance
services, as one of the major component of pre-hospital care
is offered to all staff / students of symbiosis and
villagers in nearby vicinity of Symbiosis International
University (SIU), Lavale for transfer of injured or ill
persons to the Hospital.

For Warkaris:
On 25th June Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director
Symbiosis ,Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan, Vice Chancellor, SIU,
Dr. M. A. Tutakne , Advisor Medical projects, Symbiosis
, Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar Director SCHC, Dean, Faculty of
Health Sciences, SIU, Dr. Alaka Chandak, Deputy
Director, SCHC & several employees of Symbiosis walked
for about 25kms from Alandi to Pune.
Inauguration Programme was organized near Vishwabhavan
Symbiosis at10.00am
Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, President & Founder Director,
Symbiosis, Mrs. S. S. Mujumdar Hon. Director, Symbiosis
societies Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Museum and Memorial,
Mr. Mahesh Pathak, Commissioner PMC, Pune, Mr. Raj
Salve, Municipal Corporator PMC and many dignitaries
attended programme which was inaugurated by Mr. Mahesh
Pathak, Commissioner PMC.
From 25th to 27th June 2011 SCHC and SIHS arranged free
consultation and medicines in mobile OPD ambulances for
Warkaries in association with Mr Raj Salve, Municipal
Corporator PMC. SCHC provided two medical officers and
SIHS contributed with 25-30 EMS doctors daily for the
same.
The medical team was stationed at Phulenagar (New RTO),
Deccan Gymkhana, Tukarampaduka Chowk, Laxmi Road, Nana
peth and Dive ghat.
Total Nos. of Warakaris over 3 days were 5882.
- For International Students:
SCHC offered medical support for the International
Students during the ‘International Football Tournaments’
organized by the Symbiosis International University.
- For the students of various Institutes of
Symbiosis during outbound programmes.
