"Donate Blood for a NOBLE CAUSE"

This is the chant that echoes in all the SYMBIOSIS campuses.

Every year Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) organizes Blood donation camp, to celebrate the International Student’s Day. It is the day when all discriminations of race, religion, caste and nationality are wiped out and our national and international brethren come together. The event is of special importance as the ultimate beneficiary is the common man.

SCHC organized the Blood donation camp on 28th July and 2nd August 2011 at all campuses of
Symbiosis in collaboration with charitable blood banks of the respective cities.

• Noble Hospital Blood bank, Pune Poona Hospital Blood Bank, Pune 
• Akshaya Blood Bank , Pune Acharya Anand Rushi Blood Bank, Pune 
• Pimpri Serological Institute Blood Bank, Pune Arpan Blood Bank, Nashik
• Rotary club , Noida Kemper Gowda Institute , Bangalore 
• Jehangir Hospital, Pune

Total 1680 enthusiastic voluntary donors including the students and staff fraternity of Symbiosis
contributed to the noble cause of donating blood.

The students of MBA Hospital and Healthcare of SIHS, and SCHC staff came forward for creating
awareness amongst the Symbiosis fraternity towards this occasion through skits, plays, banners
and posters.
