| Medical insurance scheme
provided by SCHC along with NIC is the first of its kind. It has
been introduced by the Symbiosis society with the benevolent intent
of students/staff health care in mind. |

Scheme Advantage |
- ‘0’ hour/ golden hour support in case of medical emergencies. This
includes provision of cash financial support at this critical hour.
- The student need not worry as regards settlement of the hospital bills.
- SCHC ensures in association with MD India to issue Authorization letter
(AL) to settle the hospital bills immediately and takes up the
responsibility of having the hospital bill reimbursed by the insurance
company subsequently. (Thus, the student is spared the difficulty of making
cash provisions at ‘0’ hour and also the hassles of making numerous visits
to the insurance company to have the bills reimbursed.)
- A medical certificate is issued to the student/staff to forward to the
concerned academic authorities with a view to excuse absence from exams or
lectures (in accordance with SCHC medical Certificate prevalent rules &
regulations).
- Referral to good qualified and experienced doctors with a view to
prevent financial exploitation.
