Preventive: Annual Wellness Checkup (Health Assessment)

We all know the term ‘Prevention is better than cure’. We conduct an Annual Health Check up of students, staff as well as food handlers, annually, to ensure they are healthy and to detect diseases and conditions early, if any. We give the stakeholders a health assessment report and give medical advice as required.


Objective

To check the status of well-being of an individual by assessing health, fitness & nutrition.


Health Assessment Comprises :

  • History taking.
  • General examinations : Height, Weight, Pulse, Blood Pressure(BP) & Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Examination by Physician, ENT Specialist, Ophthalmologist, and Dentist.
  • Basic Laboratory Investigations.
  • E-health summary with advice.

Inspection of Campus & Catering Establishment

Students' overall development can only occur in a healthy environment and within a clean surroundings.

  • Inspection of campus and eating establishment are conducted by respective Campus MO accompanied by Campus Administrator / designated staff.
  • Conducted three times in a year.
  • To maintain hygienic environment of the general surroundings.
  • To maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation of the cooking and dining areas.
  • To check quality of the cooked and uncooked foods and that of ration stores.
  • For implementation of policies to water testing and waste disposal.
